Concierto Juan Diego Florez

The great outdoor concert that the La Scala Philharmonic dedicates to its city, brings together thousands of spectators every year who fill the Piazza del Duomo year after year for the most popular classical music event in Italy. On the podium is Riccardo Chailly, conductor, who offers a tribute to the great Italian operas, with the exceptional participation of the Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Flórez.

The program includes some of the most beloved symphonies and arias in the repertoire, from Gioachino Rossini’s La Cenerentola, Gaetano Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, Vincenzo Bellini’s I Capuleti e i Montecchi, Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata, concluding with “Che gelida manina” by La Boheme by Giacomo Puccini.
