Maurice Béjart’s collaboration with the Opéra de Paris lasted more than 40 years and contributed more than twenty works to his repertoire.
“The Firebird”, imagined for the dancers of the Company, is an ode to youth about a powerful Stravinsky score. «The Song of the Wandering Companion» is an intimate work set in a cycle of Mahler’s lieder that reveals all the rigor and grace of language of Bejart. Finally, the mythical «Bolero» matches the score Ravel’s namesake.
